The GenNXT Golf Academy Team at Eagle Creek is the result of a dream to create the best possible high performance golf academy.  GenNXT is owned and operated by a team of globally recognized professional golf coaches and educators with unparalleled collective experience and accomplishments.

Henry Brunton

Henry Brunton is one of the world’s leading golf coaches and educators- a PGA of Canada Master Professional and the only Canadian listed among GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Teachers in America. In addition to being a four- time national award recipient by the PGA including 2016 National Teacher of the Year, he is recognized by Golf Digest – “Best in Country”; US Kids Golf- Kids Master Teacher, by the PGA’s of Europe with its most prestigious honor- The 5 Star Professional Award and by Future Champions Golf as a Top 25 Elite Junior Coach in the USA.

Brunton served as the Canadian National Team Coach from the inception of the acclaimed program in 1999 until 2011. He led teams to several international victories around the globe and has coached and developed 4 world junior champions; 2 NCAA Men’s DI champions, 16 NCAA All-Americans and a host of athletes who have graduated onto the Web.Com, PGA and LPGA Tours.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Brunton is the creator of the PGA of Canada’s Teaching and Coaching Certification Program. He is the author of "Journey to Excellence" and "High Performance Golf". Henry and Dr. Rick Jensen conduct professional development seminars nationwide for PGA/LPGA Professionals under the Certified Golf Coaches brand. Henry Brunton Golf is based in Canada at Eagles Nest G.C. near Toronto and in the USA at Strawberry Farms GC in Irvine, CA; and, at Eagle Creek GC in Orlando, FL.

Dr. Rick Jensen

Rick Jensen, Ph.D.,is a nationally recognized sport psychologist and author of Easier Said Than Done: The Undeniable, Tour-Tested Truths You Must Know (and Apply) to Finally Play to Your Potential on the Golf Course. In golf, his clients include more than 50 touring pros on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours. Dr. Jensen’s clients have won a total of 199 tour victories. Fourteen of his clients have won at least one major championship and have combined to win a total of 33 majors.

Dr. Jensen also trains tennis champions including winners of all four Grand Slam championships, and he has worked with champions from the worlds of Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League. In the world of business, Dr. Jensen consults with companies such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Wells Fargo, ADP, Hewlett Packard, and NIKE Corporation.

Dr. Jensen is a performance consultant to the PGA of America, the LPGA, the Canadian PGA, the PGA of Spain, Golf Channel Academies, the Women’s Tennis Association, and the United States Olympic Training Center. He has been featured on ABC, ESPN, CNN, and the Golf Channel, and he is also a contributing writer for GOLF Magazine and Golf Digest.

Patrick Leahy

Patrick is the GenNXT Academy Director at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. A thirty–year Class A veteran Member of the PGA of America, Patrick was most recently a Senior Coach at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy. A native of New Fairfield, CT; Patrick was graduated from Boston University.

Patrick has a tremendous playing, fitting and coaching background. He has played at the highest level - competed in several PGA Tour events - has won over 20 professional events and was named Georgia PGA Chapter Player of the Year. He held the position as National Director of Custom Fitting with the Ben Hogan Company where he traveled nationwide training club professionals on fitting techniques.

Patrick is extremely passionate about teaching and coaching. He is a modern golf coach who specializes in nurturing and developing high performance players. He stresses fundamentals and sound swing technique along with all of the on course performance skills required for optimal results. Recognized as 2000 Georgia PGA Chapter Teacher of the Year, Patrick has coached champion golfers at all levels of the game FCWT/AJGA/NCAA/PGA/LPGA - including one of golf’s greatest players ever- World Golf Hall of Fame Member Nancy Lopez. Students will enjoy Patrick’s easy going manner and positive coaching approach.

Dean Hartman

Dean Hartman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Henry Brunton Golf Academy at Eagle Creek. A native of South Dakota, Dean has been a PGA of America Professional since 1986. He returned to the US after an 8 year posting in Malaysia where he was the Director of Instruction for the MST Golf Academy in Kuala Lampur. In Malaysia, Dean was the Program Director for the "Road to the 2016 Olympics" Training Program- 2 male and 2 female athletes qualified for and competed in the Rio Summer Games.

Dean was Head Coach for the Sime Darby LPGA Development Program in which 6 of those players advanced to the professional ranks. He coached 8 International junior champions; 14 female golfers/7 male golfers are now on NCAA golf scholarships. In 2011, Dean was recognized by Golf Digest as the Top Teacher in Malaysia and as Teacher of the Year by the National Professional Golf Instructors Association.

At Eagle Creek, Dean is a coach in the GenNXT High Performance Junior Academy and is available by appointment  to golfers of all ages and abilities for private coaching; golf schools and custom club fitting services. Students of all ages enjoy Dean's patient manner and his deep passion to help others play better golf.

Rob Roylance

Rob Roylance is an aspiring Touring Golf Professional and PGA of America Apprentice Professional. A native of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Roylance turned professional after being graduated from Stetson University in 2007. He has established himself as a top ranked mini-tour player in Central Florida posting 6 tournament victories and over 20 top ten finishes. He will endeavor to earn his Tour Card this fall after playing a full 2016 competitive schedule of state opens and Monday Qualifiers on the and PGA Tour.

Rob is also a very passionate and committed coach. He joins the Henry Brunton Golf Academy Coaching Staff after two years of working at Eagle Creek as an independent contractor. Both junior golfers and adults will enjoy and benefit from Rob’s passion to help them to improve and enjoy the game.
